Experience

Rebecca grew up in the Decatur area of Atlanta, Georgia. While in high school, she worked at Wesley Woods Nursing Home and Sunnybrook Daycare. Following high school, she worked with the support staff in the Anesthesiology Department at Emory University Hospital. Looking for a career change in 1990, Rebecca joined the staff of Doraville Animal Hospital as a receptionist. As her skills in handling patients became apparent, she quickly moved from the front desk to a veterinary assistant position. After a few years, she was transferred to a busier sister-hospital, Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital, to assist the office manager and veterinarians. In 1998, she joined the staff at North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic in Decatur where she currently works part-time. From the nursing home and daycare center to the veterinary profession, her work experience demonstrates her compassion for pets and people. Her career change to professional pet sitting is a natural continuation of this compassion. She looks forward to caring for your pets as if they were her own.

Services Offered

The services of CatNip & DogBones Pet Sitting, LLC are based on standard 20-30 minute visits to your home. These visits may be scheduled between one and three times daily. (All homes must be visited at least once daily- sorry, no every other day visits). Please see the policy page Visit policies for further information on these services.

At the Meet and Greet, clients will be asked if they have read, understand, and have any questions about these policies. Clients will then be asked to sign a contract for future services. This contract protects both the client and the pet sitter and also expedites reservations made during the term of the contract.

Meet & Greet

The Meet & Greet visit is required prior to making any reservation. This allows the pet sitter to meet both you and your pets. This visit is essential in determining the suitability of CatNip & DogBones Pet Sitting, LLC to a clients particular needs. If the pets and pet sitter do not bond or your needs cannot be met, you will have time to make other arrangements prior to your trip. It is very helpful for potential clients to review the policies of CatNip & DogBones Pet Sitting, LLC prior to arranging a meet and greet.
